Danny Mims
Area Assistant Director of Nursing
Danny Mims, BSN, RN, graduated from Crowley High School in 1981 and went straight into business with his father at Ram Steel Company. Eventually the steel erection business was not Danny's true calling, and he started his college education expecting to enter the field of an elementary school teacher. While studying in the student union building, he found himself sitting with the Student Nurses and they had convinced him he should follow Nursing. Twice falling short for the Tarrant County College program as a second alternate, he made his way to apply to the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated with his BSN in 1994. Danny's favorite question asked while he attended Nursing School was, "So you want to be a Male Nurse?"
